DENTAL PROMOTION

Fido's doggy breath should not make you want to tuck your tail and run for the hills. Bad breath in pets can signify an underlying problem. You may already know that not caring properly for your pet's teeth can lead to periodontal disease, a condition that results in bleeding gums, bad breath, and ultimately tooth loss; but did you also know that neglecting your pets oral hygiene can lead to more serious issues involving their kidney, heart, liver, lungs, and even their brain. To help prevent this, it is recommended to start regular dental exams and cleanings as soon as possible.

Signs of dental disease:

  • Bad breath
  • Pain or discomfort
  • Bleeding or inflamed gums
  • Difficulty chewing or refusing to eat
  • Plaque and tartar build up
  • Broken or loose teeth
  • Change in behavior

In order to address the importance of oral hygiene for pets, the American Veterinary Medical Association  (AVMA)  promotes  every February as National Pet Dental Health Month. To celebrate, all month of February we are offering a  20% off on your pets dental procedure. Lets us help keep your fur-baby healthy and happy!
